Not a cake, but just as sweet - mini-apple pies.

The Sweet Life
This site is dedicated to my super supportive honey, friends and family who, like my addiction for sugar, have been constants in my ever-changing and crazy adventures. They are a simple reminder of how blessed and how sweet my life truly is!

Class Cakes
These are some of the very first cakes I made in my cake decorating classes. The great thing about decorating cakes is that you're always learning and creating something new. No two cakes you design will ever be exactly alike.
Home Sweet Home
We only had about a few weeks of lessons before my boyfriend and I decorated the cupcakes on this tower for my dearest friends. We were celebrating two occasions - a housewarming and bon voyage. We were so excited to use our new piping tips.

Toy Story
This was my very first attempt at a decorated cake/cupcake tower to go "public". I had only been taking cake decorating classes for about a month. I actually got an order for a cake at this party - the Elmo Cake.

Happy Father's Day!
Thank you Alice for giving me the opportunity to create this fun iPhone 4 cake. As small as it was, it probably took me just as long as the Spidey cake to create because of all the details I wanted to put into it. This was also my first opportunity to use the airbrush kit my baby sis and brother-in-law got me for Christmas. Had a great time making it!

Happy Memorial Day!
I received an order from one of my bestest friends for a Spidey cake for their soon to be 5-year old. I had not made a cake in months, so I created this mini, 3 in cake to practice a dark chocolate cake recipe I found online. The berries made the cake so extra ono. And I was so proud of myself because I didn't over-ice the cake and yet the frosting was pristine and smooth. Do not underestimate the difficulties of frosting a chocolate cake with white buttercream.
Fallout New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas is one of the birthday boy's favorite video games. He bought the game for "us" and got my bf hooked on it ,too, for some time. It made me nuts. This cake made me nuts. The bugs were tough to make. Of all the features of this cake my bf liked, it was the sign. Except for the wire antennae on the cazador bugs, everything on the cake is edible. Don't you think the M&N heart was a nice touch to the cake?
This was the birthday boy's favorite feature - Fallout boy knifing the bad cazador bug before being decapitated.
The cake is chocolate covered in chantilly frosting. Fallout boy is made of rice crispy treats covered in fondant. The cazador bugs are made out of gumpaste.
